Our treats contain NO added sugar in our recipes. Simple carbohydrates are referred to as simple sugars, which are broken down quickly by the body to be used as energy. Simple carbohydrates are found naturally in foods, such as fruits and veggies. The majority of carbohydrate intake should come from complex carbohydrates (starches) and naturally occurring sugars rather than processed or refined sugars. Our Apple contains unsulphered molasses, but it is the 4th ingredient on our list. Our Carrot and Mint flavors are only sweetened only with natural goodness of Mother Nature's own fruits and veggies.

HOW LONG DO YOUR TREATS STAY FRESH?

We DO NOT use any preservatives or artificial colors in our treats. Our treats are baked in a low temperature oven to preserve our natural freshness. Stored out of direct sunlight, our treats have a stable shelf life of one and a half years. Enjoy Yums DO NOT have to be refrigerated and DO NOT mold. Enjoy Yums DO NOT contain any mold inhibitors that can be toxic to certain animals.

ENJOY YUMS HAVE NO VITAMINS, MINERALS OR SUPPLEMENTS IN THEM, WHY?

Enjoy Yums are treats - just as it implies - a treat!!! As Veterinarians, we feel that vitamins, minerals or supplements should not be added in treats. There is no benefit to having these items in treats. To accomplish the correct dosage of vitamins, minerals and supplements to be beneficial, you would have to overfeed treats to support a horse's diet. All vitamins, minerals and supplements should be administered either by natural grazing or introduced by way of your horse's main diet.
